Pi Tau, 10 Years

This cake is a 12", 10", 8", 6" cake with buttercream frosting and MMF on the purple layer. The bow on the bottom is fondant, the purple flowers are fresh. The cake was made for the Pi Tau chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honors society which I am a member in Martin, TN. It is the 10th anneversary of this chapter, so celebration was in order. The cake did not travel well in the very humid day and was not as straight and smooth as I would have liked, but went over well.

It's Magic

This cake is for a 5 year old with a magician birthday party theme. the cake is chocolate with buttercream frosting. The bunny is rice crispy treat, buttercream and MMF decor. The hat brim is Fondant and I could not get it to curl on the ends like I wanted to. The bunny ears were originally fondant, but they fell and cracked, so I cheated and cut out paper ears.

Sweet Horses

10" and 6" vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and MMF accents. This cake is for an 8 year old little girl who loves horses.
